What to do? Just got laid off suddenly, told my position was eliminated, which was a made up reason. My (micro)manager of 9 months loved me, gave me great feedback & reviews & said she would promote me. Then turned on me suddenly after I said one wrong thing. She has a pattern of getting rid of people or driving them out by belittling them. Should I just keep my mouth shut or call my friends in high places in the company and tell them she's toxic? And what to say at the HR exit interview? Help!

Is there a corporate way to bring up to senior leaders that an IC is causing issues across multiple teams because they are demanding and also doesn’t collaborate well? The IC gives vague “direction” then says they are too busy to clarify. They also refuse to use our project management/ collaboration tools.
