I have an interview with McKinsey - Senior Associate, the role pays 50k more than my current role. (3YOE)
I have no consulting experience nor do I have an MBA. Somehow I’ve passed the first 3 stages and I am now onto the case study interviews.
Has anyone went from product management into consulting, is it worth it, Am I making a mistake? (London, UK)

Can a company legally change my position and OTE? I was hired for a specific segment and now just weeks into the role they said they are moving me down a segment due to business needs. The salary is the same but the commission went down. Wether legal or not this is fucking insane.

A unit in TCS is trying to retain me saying if they revise the ctc (from their unit bugedt) and provide an Indonesian onsite opportunity, will you revoke your papers. Is it worth taking this chance? I was on VISA and therefore I could not jump as I had wanted, my base compensation journey from Y1-Y8 has been: 68k, 72k, 80k, 88k, 104k, 120k, 122k, 132k. Now I just got an offer with base of 160k. If I start the job hopping cycle now (like 1 year job), is it realistic to get to 220k base and 250k TC in about 2-3 years?
