A little soul searching may be in order. You may have the bruised ego not your former boss —you need to move past that so the negativity does not follow you. You are obviously still sensitive and are carrying this around if it was you top solution to secure a job. Some constructive advice: 1. Redo/reformat your resume every so often if you are not getting hits. 2. Reevaluate your career goals to ensure you are on the right path. 3. Lead with respect and humility, we are all human and people are easily triggered these days. Good luck!

Whoa, this comes off as totally unhinged. No need to reach out to this person in any capacity; just forget about it and move forward. Hopefully you’re not bringing this up in other job interviews? If so, that may be why you’re struggling to land a new role
