That conversation should have taken place during the interview process. If they can’t give me what I want im moving on.
If not already told, I will ask about benefits like health, 401k match, or PTO. Aside from that, I would focus on whatever goals or priorities you have for this new role. Are you looking to progress? Make more money? Find a good culture fit? Base your questions around what is important to figure out whether you should accept or not.
I always ask why the position is open. What a typical day-in-the-life looks like, now that we've met, are there any red flags or gaps in my experience I can address? Do they support professional development? How long do they expect on-boarding/ training to last before I am expected to be proficient in the position? Then ill try to have a couple of questions that are industry or company specific.
