I have an interview with Korn Ferry for an associate principal role and am curious about others’ experiences have been with work-life balance here. Also, I have an idea of what I should be compensated in this type of role, but any insights on how they pay compared to others would be helpful. Are you traveling during the pandemic or have client interactions been virtual? Lastly, if you are a consultant here, are you on billable hours? Currently making 180 TC at a large bank and have an offer from a FAANG for 260 TC. Salary is not much different (165) but bonus/equity structure is decent. fully remote, dope company etc. I’ll be moving laterally in terms of title but I get the impression the scope/impact is larger and leveling is different in tech… no brainer?

I want to do strategy consulting on the side and serve prior clients (and net new clients) directly.

Deloitte MBA manager salary? S&A

Interviewed for Deloitte S&A Tech Strategy SC and got a verbal offer for Consultant instead. I negotiated the offer to 120K salary and 10K signing bonus. I’m a boomerang with 4 years ERP consulting but this past year I’ve been doing DEI Consulting. Spoke with former colleagues who rejoined Deloitte and got a much higher offer for SC. How do I go back to the recruiter to negotiate further? I suggested that I’d probably sign but need time to think. Now I’d like to go back and request 140k salary.

Do MBA hires get placed as senior consultants at Deloitte? Or consultants? Confused about the hierarchy there. Also, can anyone shed light to Deloitte bonus %’s?

Any thoughts on what a typical manager salary should be? Associates all start at 75 at BSR but managers fluctuate. Is 120k on par with other firms? 2 years experience in consulting, 5 industry, MA, and a subject matter expert. Is expecting a 45k jump with a promotion crazy?
