Getting dinner started so it’s ready at a reasonable hour.
grocery delivery during the day.
Laundry during the day.
Not having to pay for a dog walker.
Not having to wear pants.
Or a mid day shower
Not having to pack lunch or spend $14 on a mediocre sandwich
1000000%!!!!! A tiny sandwich in the office costs me $16

For us autistic people it’s pretty much lifesaving.
Also lifesaving for the parents of autistic kids and autistic kids themselves, especially those who have school trauma and can’t attend in-person.
More time with cats
No small talk with coworkers
More productive on my schedule
I think what everyone is trying to say is the best perk of wfh is not having to do the job that you get paid to do.
And this belief is why many companies are forcing their people to return to the office.
Stealth crossdressing from the waist down.
Going barefoot. Having my dog nearby, and popping out for quick walks with her. Sunshine. A calm working environment. Being able to meditate if I need or want. Better managing my mental health. Saving money on gas and lunches. Knowing I've done my best work with fewer mistakes. No stress from driving in traffic. Much quicker trips to the doctor, vet or whatever. Sitting outside and working when the weather permits. More time for living life. I could go on and on...
Sucks to be one of your "in office" colleagues and reading this! But good for you......life over work!
Also I am so much more regular. I never realized how much being in the office was throwing off that for me 😬
Being with my dog
Pro
Hitting mute and blasting the butt flute.
Real ones crop dust the entire office!
Wearing slippers at my desk. It’s a small comfort that I absolutely used to do (discretely) under my desk back when I worked in an office, but definitely a perk for wfh. I don’t miss struggling with uncomfortable shoes/heels or being on my feet all day.
My shoes have been lasting 2-3 years instead of one season. I didn't realize how hard going into the office was on my shoes!
Saving 3h of my spare time daily instead of commuting.
Saving 20 bucks daily for skinny sandwich and fatty commuting fees.
Able to to to my gym during the lunch break.
Keeping me away from sweaty smelly ppl while traveling in sardine packed train.
Doing my washing and dishes in the meantime.
Once I finish work I can go for a walk, bar, dinner instead of 90 min in a packed underground and then struggle to find time for every house things I left behind.

Double-booking.
I once presented TBWA creative in the Ogilvy kitchen on a company laptop.
To start work at 9, I have to wake up at 7. When I’m at home I can start work at 9 and wake up at 8:55.
In reverse…home by 6 at the earliest. Or done by 5 at the latest.
Gas, tolls, wear and tear on my car. ($$)
At first I thought, “you’re right, thank goodness no one can hear me go to the bathroom,” but then I looked down and saw the three cats and a dog who are my bathroom attendants these days, and… maybe that office bathroom isn’t so bad 😭
LAUNDRY
Power naps instead of mainlining caffeine
I may have to disagree here. I think returning to office might get me more bathroom privacy. 😭
