Currently at one of the Big 3 Japanese banks (MUFG, Mizuho, SMBC) in debt capital markets and might have an opportunity to join the Capital Markets team at Wells Fargo (all in London). What are the thoughts reputationally on WF vs the Japanese banks in EMEA? Also if anyone has any insight into promotions (ability to go up the ranks faster in WF) and salary what would be super helpful! Wells Fargo Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc.

The remote aspect throws me off to. The thought of not having consultation is tough. plus the lack of proper workspace is daunting but I guess it is gaining popularity.
It might be worth your time to give it a shot. I am about to do that too.
I do some teletherapy now, just not exclusively. I'm not looking for private practice but for a company that's 2 hrs away and seeking licensed telehealth. Same state.
I think it's a personal preference. Can you work at home and be as productive as you need to be?
I cannot. I get easily distracted, even in my "office" by all of the things at home that need my attention.
I personally feel that for mental health purposes, fully separating work and home is necessary, but some people are MUCH more productive at home without bosses looking over their shoulders.
Another thing I have considered since I had to work remote in two different jobs, is how much the lack of real human connection matters to me, and to the quality of the work I do.
I don't think there is any one correct answer across the board, but I think there is some data that says working from home can contribute to a decline in mental health and productivity, though I don't recall where I read that so I can't cite the source.
I currently do fully remote with an online company. It has it perks but personally I'm over the 1 on 1 sessions all the time and I'm ready to transition into a director role with doing less therapy each day, so that is the career path I am wanting to transition into now.
