Beautiful, enjoy it! I'm doing the exact same thing. Two more days of work, then off until the 5th. I've got no real plans other than hanging with my kids, family and friends. It's going to be the perfect end to '25 and start to '26.

Ugh that sounds so lovely!! Enjoy the time off :)

Similar!

I am going back home to Kansas City for the holidays and I am literally so excited. This is the first time I have been with my sister for Christmas since we were kids. It is going to be a great two weeks.

Aww that sounds so lovely! I hope it’s been great so far :)

Heck yea! Enjoy the time off.

Thanks so much!! It’s been great so far

Enjoy

From my perspective, since I bill for my time, unless I have an update or need something, I don’t initiate a call. Also, clients hold on to important info and don’t initiate a call cause they’re waiting for me to communicate with them.

I need help figuring out if I’m being underpaid. I’m working in real estate private equity and I focus on fund models and property valuations. I’m currently at base $80k and 20% bonus. I feel like I should be compensated better but the company says that’s what they think I’m worth. Any help or insights would be great!

Need career advice. Trying to break into a finance role, preferably an Analsyt role but I have no transferable experience. I worked as a mortgage loan officer (which is sales) for 2 years after college, but since mortgage is such a niche industry, no hard skills transfer and have no relevant undergrad internships unfortunately. I know I can essentially get any sales job I want in finance IE: financial advisor etc. but don’t want to be stuck in sales forever. Any advice?

Also doing MBA part time at a T15 school. Thinking about switching to IB but I’ve done my research and I think I would burn out of IB in two years but I might be ok with that for the opportunities after.
