There are other factors that's why people here ask for YOE CTC Tech etc.
There can be many scenarios
2-3 YOE getting 5 CTC and 10 CTC then I might go towards B
2-3 YOE getting 20 CTC and 25 CTC I would go for A
5-6 YOE getting 5 CTC and 10.CTC then definitely B here
5-6 YOE getting 15-20 CTC and 20-25 CTC then depending on my I tech stak if I want to learn or have to spend time in family I would choose between the 2
10-12 YOE getting 10-15 CTC and 15-20 CTC I would go for B
10-12 YOE getting 25-30 CTC and 30-35 CTC would chose A
Please note there might be a lot of possibilities and situation depending on the person taking this decision.
If early stage of career then company B.
If in later stage then company A as more stability.
Can you say wrt to the yoe ?
Rather than 5 lakh differences by % will give better idea to compare. Anyway if you are in 30% tax bracket, thus 5l will hardly add 20 to 25 k per month in salary, so I will choose A. But I will try asking 15 lakh more from B and if they provide I will join. Also tech stack, designation etc matters. For hands on role I prefer challenging project and for management roles cool project, some may want otherwise, after all it's individual choice, no right or wrong. Look for satisfaction in job whether you get by money or WLB or quality work or ...
For me, company A
Don't go by ctc.. go by wlb, work, comfort, people with whom u will be working with and in hand salary that's what matters.
Company A - Wlb matters a lot ( atleast for me) + wfh - means no travel. A will give you atleast some hike so your ctc will also increase with the passage of time.
Depends on your preference whether you want WFH or not in the future as well and if you are okay working 6 days a week.
Based on my previous experience, I would go with company A. WLB matters a lot. Also, you can try negotiating with Company A on the CTC part.
Bsdk ask company A to give better offer and share company B offer letter with them And be agreeable on whatever they A increases
I am curious to know the companies. Gen if they are competitors then things remain same for both - esp if they are MNC
You should ask yourself what you want ?? No one here can help you with this as the context and priority of individual may varies.
For one person good work culture matters a most and can not compromise that for anything. But for someone who is in need of money for any urgent t hing will go for 5 lac waala option.. no one is correct or wrong here but just the situation.
If you are an experience guy and have some savings then you should definitely negotiate with Company A and join it whatever they offer. My reason is little different, its matter of 5 LPA then good WLB and WFH things you always have a chance to earn this money from outside e.g. share market trading(if you have some savings then you can earn here with wfh), freelancing etc.
Apart from this you always have a chance to spent time on your hobbies and explore other things with option A. So for me Anytime Option A is better option.
Select A, live with your parents, if possible move to your native, build a 🏡 home with lot of open space. Plant lot of trees. Grow your own food, have couple of dogs. Enjoy the wfh responsibly. Yes .that is my life at the moment.
Don't select A if you can't live with your parents ..even if it is an option..you are good for nothing.
None of these..
A for sure
Company A
A for me anyday
definitely A
