HELP! Company wants me to move to the US for a Remote role - Is this reasonable? Hi, I'm moving through the stages for a Remote US role as a Canadian candidate. They mentioned if I were to be offered, expectation is I'd move to the US. I find this odd as the role is Remote but guess it's legal purposes. Good thing is, this comp also has a Canandian office BUT they said bringing me on through the Canadian office is not smth they do.

Hi everyone, I’m currently a junior in big law working in IP and Tech Transactions. My goal is to go in house at a film studio and practice production law. I’m having trouble figuring out how I transition into this industry. Can someone share possible pathways? What salary can a second or third year transitioning to in house expect? How can I prepare myself now to be a viable candidate?

Upon passing, the partner told me they would hire an assistant for me since I now became an associate. I’m a new patent prosecution associate and unfortunately only just now realized that maybe prosecuting patents isn’t something I want to do long term. I need to know if I’ve pigeon-holed myself. I have an undergrad in music business, and got a lot of good experience then.
