Worked in live events for 4 years before returning to law school, intending to practice in entertainment law (specifically music). Got a summer internship at a boutique entertainment firm, but no offer due to the small market. Moved to a larger market, but I’m not in one of the “hotspots”. I’m Latino; I don’t appreciate being referred to as Latinx. I advocated to our office Latino ERG that we should drop the Latinx name and change the ERG back to the Latino / Hispanic name it was a couple years ago. It wasn’t even close. The vast majority of Latinos wanted it to be Latino/Hispanic, so we are changing it back to what it was.

How do folks manage childcare? Me and my partner work both work in MBA level roles. Based on the conversations I am having with her Nanny / day care centers, I am being quoted 3-4K in expenses per child per month. Is this a reasonable number or should I be looking at alternate options. We can stretch and afford it, but my question is how does an average American raise families?
