Tata Consultancy I am a manager in Capgemini... have an offer frm TCS. the designation being offered is Assistant Consultant.. 9.8 years experience( 5 yrs with Cap) Even though I am getting a package of 25Lakhs.. it seems like a demotion in designation.. Cg has offered to match upto 23.5 lakhs.. Is it worth moving to TCS on this grade? My primary reason for moving out of Cg is i m bored of beauocracy and WLB at current project. I know for a fact the freshers in my company with zero experience are getting 50k in hand. I had to help with their taxes so i know that. In that perspective I think with my 7 years, 12lpa is low. Also in this bowl i think someone posted they have offers of 14lpa with 2 years experience.

No clue about the average CTC. I know I'm underpaid with 12 lpa with 7 years experience. I'm senior id.
Before i read your reply i would kill for a 12 lpa package, but now that you are saying even that's less I'm rethinking😅
4-5 LPA at graduate level.
I think this would depend on the company you’re being hired to. I’ve seen people with previous non-relevant experience starting afresh as an ID with graduate salary.
