I just started my first day at a startup (on the executive team) but a new friend of mine wants to utilize me as a part-time portfolio manager/financial advisor given my entrepreneurial, VC, & operational background. His holdings are $10m+ and mostly in real estate but he wants to get more involved in tech investing. I have a background in both and it won’t violate my obligations. What terms should I offer him? I was thinking: 1% AUM and 10% profits. Please offer any advice.

I work for a small firm (about 20 attorneys) and make 90k. I’m coming up for a raise discussion in a couple of months but don’t know how to go about it/what is reasonable to ask for. I bill about 35 hrs/week at 400/hr, so I think I deserve a bump, especially considering the posture of the market. I have a experience of 3 yrs as a Quality Analyst and 1.5 yrs as a Business Analyst. Also I am about to complete a PG program in Data Science and Business Analytics and now I'm seeking opportunities as a Data Analyst. CTC in my previous job was 5.3lakhs.
How much CTC should I expect in my switch as a Data Analyst or rather according to the market standards what should an ideal CTC be for a person with my experience.

There’s been some turnover over the last six months at my firm, and I have taken over more files.
