What's the best way to give/get regular feedback on a team? Does your agency have any systems in place to make sure teams are giving each other feedback regularly?

My work team has a huge feedback gap, and we're trying to (as a group) get better at getting / giving feedback, but don't know where to start! All suggestions welcome

I can't say there's a best way, you really have to get to know your team and what works for them (and you).

As a leader of a team, I have biweekly statuses 1 on 1 with each member and also my full team. I purposely leave 5-15 minutes to get feedback. I make it very clear that it is their moment to call out successes or challenges.

Unsure if my bf and I are incompatible or if I’m not compromising enough. How do you know the difference? He has so many great qualities that I love but also lacks some qualities that I would like to have but idk if I would be giving up on someone that is great for little things.

Hello everyone ,
I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. What are some good companies I maybe should apply for after getting my license?

Joining Google in a few weeks and assuming I will be moving to the Bay Area sometime this year. For people who have kids, what do you do about schools? My wife and I are looking to buy a place but most the public schools in the South Bay are rated terribly. It’s good to note we don’t have kids yet but are trying to think longer term. Are schools even considered in the resale value of a house? Thoughts and insights appreciated!

How do I politely resign? I was going to put my two weeks in last week, but it felt inappropriate because my boss was hospitalized. She is back from the hospital now but still isn’t feeling well. I left Audit at a midsize firm to join KPMG erp implementation consulting about 6 months ago. So far they seem to only want to staff me on projects with a heavy focus on technical accounting and audit. Spoke to a lot of others who have left and seems like being pigeonholed or staffed on projects not related to the actual core work of the practice is the common reason. I've been on the fence about whether I should stay and hope to be staffed on better projects in the future or leave soon...
