What’s the earliest someone could realistically apply for GSAP and be successful both from a sponsorship and M7 acceptance perspective?

The partner and I have kept in touch since I joined my new firm and I feel like his invitation is a great networking opportunity since the client (who I have worked with before) is on a number of boards.
