I work in events and at each event my manager hires her friend who works with us for the duration. Everyone on my teams loves him but at the last event he spent the entire event undermining me and any time he disagreed he would go to my manager to get a different answer. She’s now talking about getting him back in a bigger capacity. I found him lazy (he would disappear on his phone) and obviously would constantly undermine me. What should I do?
