I am actually a night ow. i sleep approximately 4-5 hours a night I'm awake at 4am. No alarm just awake. If I could start work that early, I would. So I head to the gym and clock in at about 0700.... The later in the day I start the more I drag...
πππits works for me, I have been this way as long as I can remember. I have had this looked into my specialist more than I care to mention. It works, would I recommend It for anyone else, no.
Why do you need to βwarm upβ? I know some people catch up on emails and online news for 10-15 minutes at the beginning for the day. Two hours seems like a long time to before being productive.
I have some mundane tasks that need to be done daily. They take about 45 mins. That is my βwarm-up.β Then I hit the ground running whether Iβm ready or not. The emails, phone calls and meetings start flying in at 8 am. I think my most productive though is 10-6.
I am an early bird thankfully. Not everybody is. When I get to work immediately the first thing I do is start scanning emails once I see that there is nothing urgent then I start the work for the day. I have a slow down around one to two so I either take a walk or get a bit of caffeine or both, then finish the day. For me about 5 to 6 PM my body and brain know itβs time to slow down, I might get a burst around seven for about an hour, but then Iβm just being productive at home.
Taking βtwo hours to warm upβ doesnβt work very well.
