I have attended two interviews with cognizant for the same role. From that, I have got an offer letter from one panel and I am discussing with the HR about to make some salary revise.
Unfortunately, the second panel also processed my profile and it got short listed and they come back for a talk to process the offer letter. Now the first panel HR called me and asked about the second process why it got happened.
Does this results in any drawback for the offer letter i have got already?

Currently going through the hiring process for a role in San Francisco. They told me the starting base was $110K, but this sounds like pennies in a city like San Francisco! I am concerned that if I make it through I’ll basically be poor in such an expensive city, not to mention the taxes. I also have a baby so child care I am sure is expensive. I faked my resume I mean my contracting firm did and I didn’t have choice and I got the job. Now my client wants to offer me a full time position. I kind of feel like they trust me with the work I’m doing and also considering my past experiences to offer me a full time and moreover it’s only been 3 months.

What do people use for writing samples? I’m 5 years out of school and a job posting asked for a writing sample. My law school sample is 7 years old and unrelated to my area of practice, and I don’t think I can use anything from my current work due to the confidential nature. Do people just make up a writing topic and write about it?

What is wrong with me? Ex banker here who got absolutely burned out and exited to PE.
