Anyone made the jump from EY DnA to Bain AAG (or vice versa)? I’m wondering how they stack up across technical capabilities, project mix, WLB, etc.

I am of counsel at a firm where I can set my own rate and keep a percentage of collections, which varies slightly depending on whether the client is one I generated or not. I’m finding that a lot of my work is for firm clients where the lawyer negotiated a flat fee (and the hours worked are less, due to efficiency etc). One of my friends, he made a switch just 6 months back hoping he would get a better work environment a better package, but now he is just frustrated with the working environment, being a backend developer he has been asked to just fix bugs for almost 5 months now and that too in javascript without any KTs or any other trainings when he clearly did mention in the interview that he does not have prior knowledge on javascript.

I’m an early startup having raised a bit of money from family and friends to help grow my business. Time is moving fast and I’m potties I won’t hit my targets and being the return back to those who invested.
Once I have used the money that’s been invested there’s no way of seeing it again and still bringing the return quick enough.

The numbers still show it’s possible, I still believe in the concept and I’m still growing, I think I just have some imposter syndrome.
