Second Zeus Jones. Super talented people many who came from Fallon. I worked with them at Fallon back in the day. Fallon lost everything from its roots. Pat is dead so the soul of the place left with him. As far as the city. It is a conundrum. On one hand beautiful and artistic city and even the music scene. Wonderful lakes everywhere. But it is a very closed and conservative city to outsiders. Hard to break into those Scandinavian circles. Minnesota nice is an inside joke that we will give you directions to anyplace but our house. I moved to New York and found it eminently easier to make friends and have real conversations. With the cold weather you can easily find yourself working instead of socializing. That is not such a bad thing if you are ambitious. My years there were an investment in my career.
@director1 my story too!
I loved Minneapolis, highly underrated. Carmychel Lynch, space 150, superhuman, colle Mcvoy, Zeus Jones, mono are all cool shops
‘Uffda’
You have to purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka.
Awesome city, but the agency scene is a little quiet at the moment
Fallon is awesome, owned by satan though (Publicis)
It’s a good city. But the cold and dark winters are real. Real, real cold. And mostly dark. And long.
👆🏻Had literally the exact same experience verbatim. (Maybe we knew each other there)
I live there. DM me if you have Qs. Lots of talent.
@Senior CW1 I'd love to learn more about your experience there. Can you DM me...I've used all mine up.
A friend of mine just moved there over the summer, she loves it.
Now if she moved there over the winter... it’d be a different story.
The bird?
The agency scene is pretty sleepy right now. No big account wins in town for awhile. A few of the aforementioned agencies seem to be struggling.
Any work for production or definitely not? Thank you.
