That’s because they force their employees to interview people without asking them first. The employees are overwhelmed and overworked with many projects and they don’t slow down to take hours out of their day to interview people.
That’s probably what you’re feeling.
Worked for a firm they acquired. Kept the same toxic traits (burning associates out with 4-5 projects at once, promotions based on whether the MD liked you, conformist culture where you can't show any personality, etc). They are trying to build their reputation as a leading life sciences firm. Stay away
I interviewed there a couple years back and saw the same red flags…ended up turning down the offer and glad I did!

I worked in one of the firms they acquired, and it is the same as you describe above. We even had around half an office leave within 3 months

Agree - that’s why I left. Way too toxic and they put more money into their PR than their own culture. They accept anyone, so you end up getting pretty toxic ppl
Avoid at all cost. Chose Trinity over ZS, worst decision I've ever made
I know CV was bad about a year ago but hopefully they are able to improve their culture in the last year
Thankfully I didnt joined at the end their recently aquired V&A practice saw a lot of red flags through the intervierws
What do you mean very small consulting business overall? They make more money from non consulting services?
