Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview
A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

There are actually a lot of red flags in Europe.
Huge red flag if your line manager is not a creative or does not have any creative/design background, which is the case for most startups.
You’d have nobody to learn from or look up to from a design perspective.
Yep. Been there… you end up executing the marketing people’s “ideas” or “beautifying” their 100pg PPT deck.
If they ask you to complete an extensive “design challenge”. This is called spec work and is upsettingly common with startups, and particularly european ones in my experience.
What are your biggest concerns?
I was at an org where I was one of two designers for all global offices. While I gained both soft and hard skills, I need an actual team and non-toxic work conditions. I’m aware that’s hard to find with startups so I may have to compromise on some things. Trying to figure out, as a creative, what sorts of things are a no go
Strength of marketing team, strength of creative team (if any), portfolio of creative lead.
