What's your favorite way to snazz up or fancify a powerpoint presentation or deck?

For the ppl that got BCG offers lately, what were the start date options you received?

Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Is this the standard at McK? I'm trying to guage the staffing optionality and openness of McKinsey culture to direct your random walk.

Hot take: I like our decentralized staffing model because I can work in any industry and it creates less of a “class divide” between offices

I was hired a few months ago by D to do data science. I am not doing data science currently, is there a way I can switch roles internally? Should I talk to my coach? Or should I just start looking for a new job. I’m starting to feel that the field is so hot rn my small stint at D won’t be a big deal to other firms.

How does everyone manage updating PowerPoint decks. How do you indicate which slides still need updated or reformatted versus which ones are done?

Never create net new slides. Use past formats to tweak and upgrade

Select an item -> select a box -> ctrl + shift and drag. Creates aligned copies

Does anyone know how to avoid the line break when pasting text in PPT? Usually happens when working with tables, but ran into the issue with a text box today too. Annoying to go in and backspace each time.

How to/best way to change a widescreen presentation to standard without breaking format/squishing images…?

Pasted a list from excel to PowerPoint however when I try to make them bullets, PowerPoint reads it as a group of text (only puts a bullet for the first line). Can manually delete and press enter for each line to get a bullet but curious if anyone has a quicker solution?
