The people around me are my favorite part of my job. It took years to get in with a great group and it’s really turned my whole career perspective around. It wasn’t that long ago I wanted out and far away from healthcare totally. Now I see a good future though. What about you?

At the risk of sounding generic or corny, my favorite part of the job is genuinely knowing that I'm helping people, sometimes during some of their lowest moments in life. Being a light in those moments is incredibly fulfilling.
In addition to being in a position that is fairly stable and insulated against layoffs, my favorite part of the job is being able to actually see results of my efforts. It may not be as physically satisfying as making something to sell, like furniture or art, but when I see the monthly collections figures or resolve a difficult insurance issue, I feel a sense of accomplishment that is supported by the numbers.
