Is there an email I can use to contact delta?
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

AI can’t do any of that yet lol
A lot of non-tech consulting has always boiled down to relationship building and stakeholder management with a layer of analytics on top.
Whether the analytics is done by AI or Excel doesn’t make a huge difference
Yes, it’s getting very good. My team built a cli that ingests customer data and runs anthropic models on it to build dashboards and provide all sorts of insights on the PM/consulting side and awesome coding on the security engineering side. The biggest issue is and will be cost. My compute bills are almost 4x from last month and 10x from 3 months ago.
My teams compute cost were $12k this month. Expecting it to keep on rising. I’ve asked our leadership about it and they don’t care for now. They want us to be ai first in everything we do. Let’s see what happens in 12 months. I personally am going to start pushing the team to use a tiered approach - simple tasks use cheaper models first
Your description of a consulting project indicates that the work you’re doing is probably unnecessary (not just in need of being replaced)
And yes, aware BCG does plenty of this kind of work
There will still be a role for expertise and judgment for some while to come - problem is many consultants never had that in the first place
What kind of work are you doing that's different from the things I mentioned?
It’s scary to be honest. I think AI will destroy many moats of knowledge work. Hopefully lifts others up instead of just knocking white collar workers down. UBI has better work or we see screwed as a race. I think the future is kind of scary and I’m a tech person
The uptake on the industry side is surprisingly slower than you'd think. I've been watching my spouse battle it out over the last 6 months with chain of command on a side project that would automate a good chunk of bug analysis work. Individual use is good but at scale to full on replace teams isn't there yet, mostly due to leadership bureaucracy.
If you think OpenClaw is enterprise software, you probably shouldn’t be giving advice to CIO’s
