When moving up one level (say, Analyst to Senior Analyst), what do you think is a fair salary increase? I’ve heard ranges from 10% to 30%, depending on scope, industry, and leverage. But I’m curious: what’s been your experience? And what is your industry? What % bump feels right for a true level change? I think 20% feels like max from my experience.

Thanks. I hope I end up in the top 10% at least.

I think a fair range would be 20% or more. I think generally 10-20% is pretty normal. Any less than that and I would say it isn't even worth it.

I hope it wont be less than 10%

10% or so I would think based on my experience

Thanks for your input.

If a person resigns on April month when yearly reviews are going to happen and bonus are being sent out.

It would be helpful if managers can answer this because they are the people who approves or decline this request.

What's the best form of compensation to ask for and why?

My employers' CEO just announced that they just received $7 million from investors. He wants to use that money to offer incentives to employees that hussle and drive more revenue for the company. We're not sure what those incentives look like yet, but here are some post-announcement rumors from my co-workers:

Cash bonuses, raises, profit-sharing, company equity, 401k match, etc.

Hi everybody.
Right now I’m working as a junior product engineer in Amsterdam. From januari on I’ll be a medior product engineer. And now I’m in the middle of negotiating about my salary increase. The salary that I’m being offered feels low (41.5k).
Is there an other product engineer that could tell me if my gut feeling is right or not? Thanks in advance!

Got offered 68k after 2 years as a contractor (62.5k) doing project management/business admin in a tech department at a Fortune 500 bank. I have an A.S degree and working on my bachelor’s/masters may 2024. I negotiated to 84k NYC. I have seen interns get offered 38 per hour (79k) for internship positions with a similar role.

Thoughts? Should I go higher? I do my job well that’s why they decided to keep me as a contractor after my internship.
