1. Ask them how they process/learn information best. Some people need things written out, some need to watch things in action, some need a verbal explanation etc.
2. Give room for them to be honest about what they don’t understand.
3. Check in one on one to see if they have any suggestions, as someone new looking at the project. Fresh eyes offer critical perspective.

Absolutely! I’d agree with you on that. But do you think people are open to speak what they prefer/ want when they newly onboard when asked or do you think they may shy away to make sure they get confirmed before they dare to say anything?

I know this is reversing the perspective but it may give some insights into what a new hire might be seeking in the new position?
