Is it possible to take certain files with you when leaving? Is this monitored, always or focused on the end of your tenure? I’m not talking client data but maybe doc templates or certain slide decks or program code like a VBA macro.

Possible yes, but it is theft! And you can be prosecuted for such theft! I think your question is if you steal this material what is the likelihood of you being caught. I don’t think anyone knows! You should just be ethical and you will have nothing to worry about!

Flew to client this am. It wasn't terribly turbulent, but was very air sick. Told myself "Ok. Now I know I don't want to travel 80%."

Later, at the client, "How you like to fly in more often??"

Arg!

Hello fishes,
I am MBA (Tier I) and YOE around 2.5 yrs in FDD and Research combined. Now I started in Real Estate Acquisition Analyst for Big US property management firm (as a client and gives training of Argus to build models). But But, I recently got offer from Top Indian Bank in Financial Sponsor Group (FSG) as a RM....(ofcourse getting 40% hike).
So I don't know what will be my future ahead in any of the situation. Confused!

Is there anyone in SAP Analytics from Deloitte here? I've been trying hard to find an analytics project but I rarely come across anyone in Analytics. If there's anyone from San Francisco/seattle, I'd

Small agency people: does everyone go through periods where you’re wondering if you’ll get another project before you run out of cash? It seems like every year there’s a point we start getting close to running out of runway and then something comes through, but it’s definitely have it happen with what’s going on right now. We’ve been lucky enough to have new projects over the last few months but it’s gotten real quiet over the last month. Just wondering if it’s always this hard at small shops.

QQ!! I am creating a TPE deck, for ITRA. It's for a Investment firm. Need help with key things I should focus on. I have the SOC 1 report of the service Org that the client is using.

I was just told that on fixed fee projects I should only record the tile I actually spent working on the matter rather than the full time that’s allowed to me for the project. The firm says that they want to be able to analyze how profitable the project is by comparing it to my time. I don’t get why I have to do that since I can just tell them how much I spent on each matter. It feels that they want to charge the client one thing but attribute me another. Am I wrong to think so?

Once,I was introduced to a poke place by a white friend & started going there often. One of the guys behind the counter remembered me and how I liked my poke. When I told my friend that the guy remembered me & my order she suggested maybe I should date him.

I was like "why the hell should I date a guy who makes poke for a living? I am not some bargain basement woman who must take what she can get." She was never quite as warm to me since. Amirite in thinking race played a role in her reaction?

This is a query regarding a course.

I am currently enrolled in PGP Data Science and Business Analytics offered by Great Learning (Great Lakes Institute of Management) and University of Texas, Austin. It's completely online and 11 months. Is this course equivalent to a Masters/ MBA? Do recruiters consider this course as a valid one?

My husband had a horrible year - losing a parent, sibling getting covid and rejected for promotion at work. In addition my toddler is so clingy to him and he does lots of childcare which gets exhausting at times . I want to surprise him for his birthday and he is so much into surprises and gifts. Any thoughts and ideas? We have been together for 10 years and with covid and being a parent made us so boring. He doesn’t want to do alone time leaving our toddler.

This may be a dumb question: do I really have to have an MBA to get advisory/consulting type of positions? Does intelligence automation/data analytics type of consulting also need an MBA? Or an analytics degree will help much more?
