Depends. I have some clients who are start ups or at least growing companies that are still building out certain functions (like tax). There is an opportunity in these places to be something of a leader in an otherwise somewhat junior role because there isn’t an existing blueprint in place. This appeals to some people and it can be a great career opportunity. I will say it also seems like a ton of work. I think it also isn’t right for people who need a lot of guidance or prefer very structured situations. There is also a certain amount of risk because you may fail to build the organization you’re aiming to build. But as they say: no risk, no reward.
In ethier situation it looks like it's going to be an undertaking and there will be long nights. This does look interesting tho if you like challenges and like trail by fire type of jobs.
Nah, what I think it means is that the structure is not clearly depicted - roles and responsibilities is blurred.
While I don’t think you will be recruiting, you will be adding onto their existing processes.
