Also Tim came into the meeting totally cold. Classic Tim.
⭐️ Tim
Went great. It’s all pretty funny. Management is a bunch of idiots. Management is trying to resolve this quietly and informally because they failed to comply with notice provisions in the lease to raise my rent before renewal (costing the owner about 13k in new rent). Tim represents the owner not the management.
Which management didn’t understand when they called him in
Considering asking for 20k as a settlement on the understanding that i won’t send an email to every resident in the building explaining that most likely they’re all entitled to renew at old rate if they moved in around same time as me
Exploite the system 🤩

So how did the meeting with ole Timmy go?!
Tim should be conflicted out, no?
Probably but management was there he told them we work together everyone laughed and we sat down to chat it out noone was reaching a settlement then and there. I imagine he’ll disclose the conflict to the developer. The firm doesn’t litigate or mediate anyway so he’d be telling them to get other counsel anyway
Does the rule against communication with a represented party apply If I’m representing my self?
