I have a fair amount of retail experience and have created a bowl to help fellow consultants who are interviewing in retail and CPG. My experience is across a wide range of topics (primarily non technical) and would love to help folks get their dream job. Would be awesome if others can join and contribute their knowledge.

Hello Deloitte 🐠 20 YOE. Have referral for a content and marketing M role in cybersecurity -- the focus of my career pivot. Submitted my application today, but my referrer isn't in Cyber. Interested to widen my Deloitte Cyber network to get my resume in front of a human, since ATS has no vision or imagination. If you're willing to connect, please DM. So far, made it several interview rounds into roles with EY and Accenture. Optimistic, but want to be as proactive as possible. Thanks!

Hi,
That’s a great question. Behavioral interviews are very common, and preparing for them can really help you stand out. I can share with you a list of commonly asked behavioral questions things like “Tell me about a time you handled conflict on a team” or “Give me an example of when you had to adapt quickly to change.”
In terms of preparation, there are both free and paid resources:
Free: YouTube channels, Glassdoor interview reviews, and Big Interview’s sample question lists.
Paid: Platforms like Big Interview, LinkedIn Learning, and Coursera offer structured training specifically for behavioral interview prep.
If you’d like, I can also walk you through the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result), which is the best way to structure your answers and make them impactful.
Kindly send me a message, and I’d be glad to share a detailed list and recommend the right training resources for you.
Start with 6 core stories you can reuse: conflict, leadership, failure, ambiguity, stakeholder management, and impact. For each, write STAR bullets and keep the Result measurable if possible. Common prompts include “Tell me about a time you disagreed” and “Tell me about a challenge.” For out-loud practice, Aural is one optional resource: https://aural-ai.com
