Hi,
I have joined ACTI a month back in Kolkata in L9. I wanted to opt for Company Car Lease policy just to save TAX but finding it too complicated.
I had raised queries to payrole and they have replied with a suggestion to think twice before opting for this benifit.
What do you all suggest, who have already opted for it?Accenture

I guess you weren’t technically a project manager then if this is new? Please don’t say this on an interview. 😂😩😟 Second part is when I went to client side it’s technically easier with WLB. I resourced teams only.
Unrelated Q: How did you pivot to client side? Was it higher pay too?
I know what you’re asking for and I wish I could answer. I went from an agency where I managed the creatives to another that expected me to resource (even when not being across agency projects) and budget and scoping (when I had no experience other than managing creatives and resourcing asks within that my account and central team). I really feel that I got the old okie doke on that second agency, went from the Wild West to ….the twilight zone/bizarro world. I know this doesn’t help but I think you’ve answered your own question in the sense you know what questions to ask on interviews. Best wishes 🙏🏽
If you want to stay on the agency side look for agencies that have dedicated RMs (off the top of my head - publicis, havas). You can also look at agencies where PMs are also producers. However, there is that possibility you would be scrambling for resources when you need them.
What responsibilities do you prefer to do as a PM?
Big holding cos are the only ones with resource managers who operate that way. You’re still a part of it though. How can you run a project without keeping your eye on what people are juggling?
Look for creative producer or integrated producer (watch out for video or broadcast key words in the JD) roles. A lot of agencies incl my own switched from digital producers to project or program management, to create a more holistic approach to managing work.
