Which industries have you guys seen the most complex post close projects? I've found industries with the most real estate footprint to be the hardest ie: retail or multi-site manufacturing

- Anything facilities is a nightmare
- Related, anything touching ASC842 integration gives you brain aneurysms
- Contact center integrations are complex
- 10x level of vendor/procurement integration footprint versus other industries
- Site level cultural and ways of working differences on roids

Not industry specific, but anything global with small populations of employees in multiple countries is super complex. Think less than 20 people per country and over 10 countries. Each country has a completely different transition plan and the employee count, whether 1 person or 100, is the same level of complexity and effort given local requirements and employment laws.

Big Energy is super complex. Highly diverse job catalog, global footprints, massive regulation, safety and operational overlays that don’t apply in a lot of industries.

hi all, currently have two offers:

1: EY - FDD, home city, very good $$ for FDD

2: PwC - post-merger integration, DDV team (essentially M&A Consulting) - bigger city, always been keen to move

Coming as a Senior in Audit, with recent FDD exposure (2 deals, obviously not much). I was looking for something more than just number crunching, wanting a mix of quant / quali / strategic work. M&A Advisory or a Corp Strategy role is where I'm looking to end up long term.

Thanks in advance!
