I wish our business was more conducive to taking opportunities like this to get out and help the community as a firm instead of sticking heads in the sand and billing. Every disaster in 2020 and early 2021 has made me scratch my head as to why we continue to pretend like everything has been normal the past several months. I understand we have bottom lines and ethical obligations to our clients, but the part of me that got into law to help people has difficulty doing doc review while my neighbors freeze/starve/die from covid.

It’s been a very unproductive week, but I’m so grateful to be warm
