Hi Guyz,
Any one from IBM ?
I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.
Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

Bro I have a brain. I'm not gonna pay for an LLM
You sound like a horse in 1885
Day to day still paid version of ChatGPT, I need to try out Claude a bit more.
It is like picking friends these days, sounds like it by reading this thread - little bit of shaming LLMs too? Like this one is more polite than that one that sounds angry all the time!
As long as humans are in the loop, they will look for what fits them, and there will be LLMs that will be a best fit to your taste. (=biased to you). And then why?
This wasn’t a good comment
Grok seems to be the best for unrestrictedly telling me what I’m looking for. ChatGPT is full of sorry I can’t do that and is consistently wrong about things. I also like the Brave search AI summary. Claude has been pretty good too but not my go to
What are you doing that ChatGPT is preventing you from doing ?
Gemini for general purpose
Claude for deep thought and problem solving
Subscriptions to both
Used to be a ChatGPT subscriber but it’s a distant third to the 2 above now
I’ve been using Claude for excel spreadsheet work and am amazed at how much it can handle and get right. Paid for version but still can burn through that pretty quickly
I’m really interested; what are people primarily using this for?
It’s been stressed us to that we can’t use outside LLMs with client data so if for client work what type of output are you generating?
If for personal what are you all doing in your spare time? Feel like I’m missing the boat here.
Thanks for the reply. Wasn’t trying to be defensive but can see how it came across that way.
To your point generally used free stuff for personal use and firm provided for client / work use. I’ve had good success with using it as starting point or to develop content but when it comes to putting things on slides or actually computing / analyzing trends it’s been lackluster and requires me to directly intervene often to the point of wasting time.
Perhaps it’s the tools I’ve been using or bad prompts.
Grok.
