I’m a new winter grad and I feel absolutely horrendous. As much as I don’t want to admit it I’ve never been more depressed in life. It’s not even bc I’ve lost the stress from school, it’s that I really don’t look forward to my job.

I’ve always wanted to travel the world but I’m in finance and in the role I am in there’s no way for me to do that. I’ve also always wanted to start some kind of food business but it feels like a pipe dream especially given the risk and trade off. Any suggestions?

For the people who went back to school to pursue a totally different career, what did you do for work? I don’t think I’d be able to do both my current job and school. I did retail in college and that probably isn’t so smart right now. Neither is working at a restaurant. I don’t think I can go back and live with my parents. I feel like I’m stuck.

I’m white, married for a decade. The difference between me and my spouse on current events might be the demise of our marriage. Spouse agrees that George Floyd’s death was murder, but is fighting me about financially supporting marginalized people to bring change.
