You can earn more because you're essentially on call 24/7, but... you're on call all the time. It just depends if that's worth it to you.

I'm a vet tech in an emergency vet center. It can be very stressful, but I personally find it rewarding to be there to support pets (and their families) through some very stressful times. It takes a special person, but if you're considering it, then you might be that person!

I work in an emergency center. I could say that the pay here is significantly higher compared to other fields. So yes, it is worth pursuing.
If you have the drive, the energy, and the will to work in this environment, then go for it. The work here could be demanding and stressful but everything's worth it. Best of luck!
Yes if you can handle the pressure of it being emergency of course. Many pet owners come through in distress and wanting immediate answers
