No snow, cheap housing, and cities like Phoenix have enough to do.
I'm from Michigan and I feel like half of my high school class moved to Chicago and the other half moved to Phoenix.

I live in AZ and it is gorge and bouij, but I’m going to try and convince you not to move here by showing you this photo of a bug I saw yesterday. It’s called a tarantula hawk because it uses that huge stinger to hunt tarantulas, drag their prey into caves to feed their young! One of the most painful of all insect stings in the world. (They don’t hunt people, they are actually quite beautiful but it’s getting crowded in AZ so here you go...with my thumb for size reference)

Oh yeah, and scorpions, rattle snakes and javelinas

There are nice areas and not nice areas in every city. So bouji exists, but not everywhere

I’m from Pennsyltucky. Many people I know moved South, primarily Florida, but a number to Texas or Arizona. For Arizona it is usually somewhere in Maricopa County.
While PA is not my favorite place, I can’t imagine living in any of those states. Summer is hotter than the surface of the sun.

V — still in PA. Not planning to move until the kids are out of the house. Then we downsize before they can move in with us.

In the past couple of years, housing prices have risen faster in the Phoenix metro than anywhere else in the nation. Why? It’s a nice place to live.

What is so special there versus another place..? I’m
Telling you every person I know either went to undergrad ASU to party or their rich parents go there to retire.
Or wealthy good looking people live there

After living on the east coast for 15 years, and after a few particularly cold winters in NYC I was out in AZ on a project and boom, never looks back. Try it on, if it fits, keep it
