Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Let me know if anyone can help me.

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

I completely agree. Salary should be discussed early, because it saves everyone time. There’s nothing “distasteful” about making sure the role lines up with real-life financial needs. I wouldn’t be rude about it, but I do think asking for the range on the first call is totally fair.
If the range isn't discussed in the 1st conversation I wouldn't even entertain a 2nd discussion.
Mandatory first recruiter interview question!!!!!!!
Recruiters should tell candidates the range to avoid wasting everyone’s time

For sure!
This is why I rarely apply for a role that doesn't include the salary range in the job description. I don't want to waste time applying for a role, then interviewing for the role (assuming I am selected for an interview) only to find out the salary is below what I am looking for.
I know a few states within the US require a salary range to be included within the job description.
