I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.

I think appraisals will happen... I am just saying theoretically... Layoffs have indicated that it's not as stable as it used to be... There not a great opportunity or work or explore and develope new skills also( what we explore and have explored in ai tools 2 years back is getting explored here now... Senior leaders are just waking up) which creates a very big chance at employees being at low morale... And low morale employees are not great for business to achieve things hard and fast.... So to appease the remaining employees I think they give appraisals.... Might be peanuts but they will give nonetheless and say it in all hands that we have appraisals even in such a bad time...

Layoffs people got 100%,120%,130% of sti i heard.Year of service severance plus three months notice salary.All layoffs people took all money.
U pushed yourself whole year but definitely same dialogue u will listen we have budget problem as layoffs happen,so many restructing in organisational level u need to understand we only can give you 6/8% maximum.As current market is bad.
Bro grow up nothing is bad outside.Every year u will adjust in same position, after that u will become low perform in outside.As people outside company will ask u why same position for 3/4 years?Are you not performing?What will you answer.Stop adjusting you career .
Other people will get money outside.
In the end money matters u are not doing charity.After that so much of adjustment you will get layoff one day as you are not performing.Think twice before adjusting .

I've lost hope and put papers on the same day as VZI layoffs. Been waiting 2 ½ years for a Engr III promotion, handling workload from two different systems, helping juniors and seniors alike, but still my supervisor thinks I don't deserve a promotion or good hike because I don't agree with all their ideas. Even with the top rating, you can only expect 12-13% max and no promotion cycle for the next 2 quarters. If you still love working at Verizon, leave and join back in 2028 when the company gets their shit together.
SE 3 promotion is useless you will get hardly 20% on current pay max hike...whereas other SE3 pay gap is huge almost 100% . Staying in verizon for more than 3 years for band 8&9 is waste of skills.
