Layoffs will hit USDC just like they hit every other area of the firm. Most likely, folks who are (1) unstaffed, (2) fell behind on utilization this year or last, (3) were rated as low performers this year or last, or (4) don't have a strong pipeline for their offering portfolio..or some combination of those things, will be AT RISK.
The one leg up we have as USDC practitioners is that we cost less than Core. I have no idea how that will factor in, but take it for what you will 🤷♀️
I've been on PIP for last 2 years with 105%+ utilization and somehow still not laid off. 🤡 Not sure what it takes to get laid off at USDC but I'm sure it's extra.
I don’t know. Depends on the practitioner I guess
I think part of the problem for USDC low performers this year is that our bench is growing slightly. It’s been very thin for a while and that’s changing. When the market forecasts look like they do, and we have a growing bench, ANYONE on the bench and is a low-rated performer should be downloading their personal info/data and updating their resume. I feel terrible for anyone in this position, but it’s a sad truth. Heck, I’d say anyone placed on a BCLP due to YE results this year, even if they’re staffed, are on very shaky ground.
Anyone please shed some light how HCAS is doing right now and pipeline work? Is bench thick for SAP in USDC?
