Will premiums ever actually go down or are we just accepting that they’ll keep climbing every year no matter what? The way things are trending it feels like the industry can’t sustain this long term and I’m wondering if anyone sees a real path to reversing these increases or if this is just the new normal.

10 year experience here and looking assess where I would stand.

I’ve been working for my State Farm agency as a team member for 2 years. I am licensed in property and casualty as well as life and health, but only make $13 an hour. I technically can make bonuses but I’m not supposed to dig into a sale and I have to send it to a sales rep (I am service and retention mostly). My boss also has me running a retired agents office until a new one is chosen (its an hour away with no pay increase or mileage pay). Also, no benefits! Should I start job searching?

currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

Why do the London markets write hard-to-place risks for not a lot of premium?
