With all the expensive cars talked about on here, what's the cheapest car you ever bought and for how much?

Mine was a 1978 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Bill Blass edition. 351M/400 engine with the biggest 2 barrel carburetor I'd ever seen. Had power everything and air conditioning.

I paid $200.

This is not my car but it looked like this:

Cheapest for me was a 1993 BMW 325is for $500. Suspension was dangerously blown out and it was a hilarious drive home, but the engine and transmission pulled hard.

Just seen this one on a movie I watched lady night

Idk I bought a 2004 saturn ion as beater to do long commutes because it was cheap on gas. It still runs and drives with basic care I still drive here and there. But iam more of 2 door stick shift car girl my self and prefer American late 60s to 70 mopars so 🤷. So banging gears and eating gas on daily is my thing. unless it's the convertible with the top. Which mopar and late 60s and 70 cheap do not mix together with the cars I like 🤔

Always promise myself when I win the lottery I'm gonna buy myself some 60's and 70's muscle cars. There is nothing like a lumpy cam making your whole chest feel that whump whump whump when your idling at a red light.

84 mercury lynx wagon, pos rusting to pieces for $200
