Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish. She keeps calling all my ideas ‘gamer chairs’ even though they’re definitely not. Anyone have any chairs they really like that may be worth looking at? I feel like I’ve looked everywhere (Steelcase, Herman Miller, humanscale, Haworth, xchair, etc).

I’ve been with my bf for 18 months and we have not said ‘I love you’ to one another. I keep hearing about how the best/healthiest relationships are a slow burn, you’re friends first, grow to love each other, etc. I’ve never been in a relationship as emotionally slow as this one. I have friends that have back office positions but never received an offer letter & their company still doesn’t use them now. Has anyone given notice & started a new position without an offer letter? Do international companies provide something else in lieu of a formal offer letter? I know offer letters aren’t legally binding anyhow, but seems they’d provide something. (International = Canada)

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. My entrepreneurial pursuits remain hampered. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
