Has anyone here ever successfully complained about the performance rating and bonus their MD gave them at the end of the year? What's the best way of going about it without killing your career?
Not to be a Debby downer, but do you think the accelerated bonus payout and raises is to stop people from leaving the firm. It seems like a lot of people are leaving at the moment.
I'm a producer in California with 5+ years experience. My current agency wants me to take on account management in addition to being a producer. What should I be asking for in terms of salary?
Do art directors and copywriters make the same salary? My partner and I recently got a promotion, and his raise was significantly higher than mine. Is this normal?
I gave a recruiter a minimum for base comp previously, and they are now putting together an offer. If the offer comes in at the minimum (or close to it), should/can I still try to negotiate up?
NYC. Have one year of cw experience at a well known shop (started at 50) thinking about changing shops. What should I expect in terms of salary? 55k?
What’s the rationale as a freelancer to call one’s self an “ECD” or “CCO” or whatever when they never had that title in an actually full-time capacity? Just sounds like over-compensation to me.
I am thinking of moving to Texas from New York. Curious to know the salary revival that may happen due to changing location. Day on 100k in now york how much to expect in Texas?
Moving into an operations analyst role at a BB (1 YOE). I was told I'd be able to negotiate the salary. What's fair? (No bonus, and OT offered)
Curious about the number of people on here that make $250k+. I see the absurd compensation numbers that get thrown around on the consulting bowl as if $250k is the new $100k and I’m beginning to wonder if the data is skewed between whites and blacks? I’m not seeing these sort of compensation numbers in my circles. Am I grossly underpaid? For reference, I’m a Top 10 MBA, big 4, SM 2 @ $195 base and ~40k bonus.
Deloitte fish, what would be the average salary for a Cloud Strategy Consultant in Chicago? I have 2 yoe.
MFW my IB girlfriend makes 2x my total compensation. And I work in investment. What do you guys have to go through to earn that +250k?
Considering an offer - 13% base salary discount for a lower cost of living city/state with no income tax. Good offer? Cost of living is basically 40% less than current city/state.
What companies would be best for a software engineer who is a new grad and why? I am particularly interested in growth opportunities and total compensation.
I was hired as a Sourcer. I am on track to be promoted to a full cycle recruiting role as I have done the job for the past 6 months to prove myself (and am the only recruiter on the team). I have been told I will be promoted but really want to figure out how to nail down a specific time frame/compensation with my manager. COVID has made this more difficult than it typically would be since the company isn’t doing many bonuses/promotions.
Asking for a friend, she has 3 years of OPT. Most companies have question in application if you ll require sponsorship now or in future. Moment she marks YES she gets a reject. She just marked no thinking anyways for 3 years she doesn’t need. Now she got an interview with recruiter, how should she respond to recruiter on the call if this question comes up.
wanting to exit in VC after 3 years of management consulting. would anyone be willing to chat that could help provide insight into their own experience of doing this? also would love to chat with anyone in the VC world in general
Interviewing with Accenture for Senior role in Guidewire Delivery in NE ( NYC, Boston, Hartford or Philly). Any idea on pay ranges and signing bonus?
BizOps or Customer success? Looking at exit options and love-hate these two roles. BizOps can be great as an internal consultant but can also just be another title for program manager. Customer success is cool to be near product and be in front of customers too but is it just a new name for customer support and account management? Which one would you lean to?
Deloitte folks: Potential salary range for an SC in Advisory with 2 years of consulting experience? I'm horrible at negotiating (& we all know Glassdoor is 💩💩)
Marriott or SPG in 2018? I have 25 nights rolling over from Marriott, so either is 50 to platinum. What do you think?
Im a first year audit staff at a smaller firm and have quickly realized that I want more (big4) what would be the right time to start applying to big 4? (asap, after 1 year; after 2 yrs?)
P (m) favors one SM (m) and they clearly go out of there way to have lavish dinners, travel to cities a day earlier together when not necessary avoiding families, do I say anything, awkward! help!
Trying to understand the “digital” sides of the MBB firms a little better. Do any of them have a distinct focus / advantage in the cloud space?
It seems like Oracle Bangalore is on a hiring spree and there are a lot of roles that are of interest to me. Unfortunately applying on LinkedIn has not yielded any results. What's another way in?
Looking for an IC role and hands on tech, no pm stuff, I want to do the work. I have some experience in Analytics and python. Has anyone moved to tech, in analyst or other roles exiting consulting?
Which advisory lines in Big 4 are still sponsoring visas? I’m trying to leave B4 audit seems like they are the only that still sponsor.
6'0", male, handsome, in great shape, ambitious, good with money, loaded, come from a good family. I'm a catch on paper. Women say that I've got a seductive voice. 😂 Open to zoom dating.
Is it true that MBB only strategize but rarely execute their plan? If so, why not implement too and benefit from the additional work?
am i the only one who gets uncomfortable when adults joke at work and use kid insults? ie “oh you don’t want her on the project, she’s a troublemaker” like okay dude i am 25
