Would you report a Federal PM who showed extreme bias between contractors. They went as far as demanding that a contractor from another company attend all internal meetings. Further, they demeaned a resource based on gender and race.

Thank you ACN

Yes, I would report to my PM with the expectation that they have a conversation with the COR. If nothing improves or they won’t talk to the COR because they’re afraid of the potential repercussions, I’d call the Ethics hotline. Be sure you have the receipts though - doing this can absolutely get you rolled off a project and potentially fired.

Bias between contractors, talk to your PM and they’ll loop in contracts to formally approach it. On the demeaning races, is there an ethics hotline or EEO office? I’d look for an anonymous or non attributional route there.

6’0 and weighed in at 220lbs today. All time high and have gained 20lbs since gyms closed in March. When I did workout it was more or less 100% compound lifts. I’m now limited to a few kettlebells but am not even close to as consistent as I was. Any idea on how I can lose this excess 20lbs? I feel like it crept up over night.

I was just offered a CUNY role. The title is Higher Education Assistant. According to Glassdoor, the average annual pay for that role is $83,418. However, I was offered $62,500. I requested for the minimum annual salary to be 75k. Does anyone have experience navigating the CUNY system and their pay?

I’ve been working a Boston based commercial lender for about 9 months as a credit analyst since leaving my relationship manager/portfolio manager role in agricultural lending. I’ve been presented with a portfolio analyst role they have created for me (was told not to apply for a PM role) . The offer is for $100k, is this reasonable? I feel like I have leverage due to underwriting 48% of the volume we have booked by myself and my team is 7 other analysts.

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

I'm thinking 120-135k would be bad/mediocre, 180-195k would be possible/a stretch, and 160-170k would be doable/realistic. Thoughts? Not interested in Deloitte.
