Hi A&M fishes. For PEPI whats the median or a good guess for base salary and annual bonus for a Senior Director. Do they get any equity too? Looking for realistic numbers, trying to make a decision.

Do you have to return a sign on bonus if you leave after a year? Never had one before, so I am not sure.

Stub year in a free market firm frustrated about hours. Everyone was complaining about being slow last month, but it seems most passed 100 hours and I only got 60. I’ve been doing everything mgmt says to do but I’m making no progress in getting work. I can’t help but think I don’t fit in here and people don’t like me - especially because I went to a lower-ranked school, grew up poor, and am neurodivergent so networking is hard for me. Whole system feels very nepotistic. I just want to give up.

Or am I just looking at a GS11 step 1 that’ll hurt pretty bad? Are there any perks that can help offset the lost income like childcare stipends (the agency mentions a childcare subsidy on their benefits site but I can’t find what that actually means)? Thanks!

We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could.. I want to see if I could negotiate being eligible earlier but I also don’t want them to think I’m pregnant when I’m not actually… How would you approach the conversation?

The hostility on my team is rough. We have a yeller. I walked by her room the other day. She was screaming across the room at a student, "you have to be kind to get kindness." Seriously, those were her words in a loud, berating, angry tone. Our admin has asked that we not report these. We are to talk to the teacher. She has yelled at me and other adults. I got selected in LTI, the offered CTC is less than my current CTC, HR says they have budget constraints.
