I recently upgraded my fitness tracker, and now I am completely inundated with daily data points regarding my strain, recovery, and sleep cycles. This morning, the app told me my recovery/sleep score was in the gutter, which instantly made me feel sluggish even though I actually felt fine when I first woke up. Do you let your wearable technology dictate your training schedule, or do you rely on intuition?

I use it to inform, not to dictate. I worry less about individual night sleep scores and more about overall training load. If it says I've been training hard for too many days in a row, it's probably not wrong. I find it docks my sleep score if I'm awake for a while in the middle of the night, even if I end up getting a full 8-9 hrs and feel great.

Few tips for looking at exits:

1) Referrals are a huge tool for getting your foot in the door. At Facebook it guarantees that atleast your resume is given more than a glance.

2) A well constructed story/resume can offset any weak points in your experience

1) Yes, our salaries are in line with B4. Happy to discuss specifics with the skeptics.
2) We are one of the few firms still actively hiring people without FDD experience.
3) Our WLB is miles better than B4.
4) Yes, we are paying strong referral bonuses because our practice has literally doubled in the past year.
5) All of the above is due to a strong pipeline and significant growth within the practice.

Lost 5lbs in one week by pushing my first meal of the day back to 11:30am. Probably can’t consider it to be intermittent since I don’t have a hard cut off time for when I stop eating at the end of the day but I’m really happy that this small adjustment is working!

I tried counting my calories while on this trip. My lunch was basically my whole day’s worth of calories and I barely finished 2/3rd of it 🙃 man I HATE calorie counting. Why is weight loss so dependent on it 😭 whatever I’m just gonna enjoy this vacation and suffer the consequences. Plus side is at least we’re hiking/walking a lot.
