How does the salary and year end bonus of a corporate banking analyst and associate at a bulge bracket differ from an investment banking analyst and associate at a bulge bracket?
Graduated same school/major with a friend who works for CME group trading commodities. He just bought a house with his bonus check in cash and he’s 25 years old...Where did I go wrong?
Just got an offer from a large pharma in Boston to be a Manager of Cloud Engineering. Currently a Senior 2 in EY Tech Consulting in Denver at $120k but hoping to make manager next summer. Comp for the new role would be $155k base, $60k in stock over three years, 20-30% target bonus. Thoughts?
Just had my comp call and I feel I'm making much less than my peers. I've always been rated a 4/5. Advanced degree (non mba), National Advisory, NYC, PI-Analytics, Sr 3. How much should I be making?

Will the SWE demand/salary bubble burst in due time? I’m bad at it/can’t learn it, but I’m annoyed at the culture of the “tech bros” and the pay gaps can be huge...
How do I answer the salary question in a recruiter phone screen? What’s a reasonable mid-level salary (raise) to ask for? A slight bump? Highball? Should I mention (a higher # of) what I make now?
Working on a potential offer to join leadership team of 3 co-founders as essentially the CEO-1 for 2 tech delivery firms of <50 people. They've asked me to outline an OTE based in base salary and % of revenue, haven't really negotiated this before, any insights in how to decide my ask?

Has anyone here made the transition from a big 4 to Slalom? Any thoughts to share? Is it really what they sell? Is the compensation competitive? Thanks in advance!
Staff two here and just got my new salary. Base is a measly $2,700 more than incoming hires. When you take into account their bonus our peer group makes 8.1% less than people with zero experience. How does this make any sense. Did leadership think this was a good idea? I’ve been reading a lot on fishbowl about managers making less than incoming MBAs. How is that fair? Think this was a really poor job of executing salary adjustments. Am I wrong or does there need to be a change soon
Any Deallus Consulting fishes here? Do you like working there? Do you like the people there (esp. NY office)? How’s comp for Associates? I have a PhD and $75K base seems quite low to me… I wonder what the range looks like. Thanks :)

Taking 15% base salary cut to enter into industry. Will work at least 20% less hours (50 vs 60) in addition to no traveling. Am I thinking w right framework?
Should I expect a promotion to essentially be in writing? This entire "promotion" seems to be theoretic over the last 6 months. I was about to quit yesterday and now the position I didn't think I was going to get is starting to come around;timing couldn't be crazier. Should I give them an ultimatum? I just received an insane offer but I want to stay.

Senior at Big 4 FDD vs Associate at A&M? Base is higher for my big 4 offer but A&M is higher in terms of total comp because of the bonus and will be compensated way more as I get promoted. Per this sub it seems like A&M is the way to go but wanted to get some thoughts.
Anyone here exited to P&G or Unilever in either purchasing or brand management? Any insights on the culture/benefits/progression in these companies are much appreciated.

I’ve done some in the past and some led to further interviews others didnt but including tell why some went one way some went the other. Any and all tips and insight appreciated!
