I'm a recovering engineer in consulting and want to learn more about finance. Are there any online programs that would also look good on resume? There are certificate programs by MIT, Harvard, Princeton, but not sure if they are worth the cost. TIA!

Sacklers made a rookie mistake of not starting with a big4. Had they come to us, our partners would have recommended a phased digital transformation journey to enhance value maximization and increase share of wallet. We’d do this by implementing SAP, Workday, and Salesforce using power point based accelerators to create a 360 degree view of the customer that empowers the frontline, increases loyalty and enhance employee collaboration. I received offer letter from Accenture mentioned joining date is 1st-Oct-22 as I had told them that my notice period is of 3 month,Later I got to know that it is 1 month as i am still in probation. So I asked them to give early joining.

HR told me to put resign and let him know my LWD and as per that he will send revised offer letter.
My last working day is 20 July. Still I haven't received revised offer letter.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

My superiors are asking me to contact CEOs of debtors to chase payments. We’re in B2B and payments are usually 30 days or more. As soon as we get someone over that and they don’t provide a payment date, I’m being asked to contact their CEOs somehow and demand payment.
